Who am I

Aptitude beats Experience any day, that's been my belief since childhood.

In my short tenure as a Councillor, I have:

Supported identifying and launching a new burial site
Re-opened an award-winning cafe in a residential home that was closed for 8 years
As the lead on communities, I contributed to the redevelopment of 3 community centres
As a Small business representative for the council I achieved a 70% increase in sign-ups to the ‘living wage initiative’ something I will bring to Wycombe!

I am not your usual Politician, I have had to work hard to make something of myself. Starting out washing dishes over 30 years agoand in my professional life, I have built a successful construction business, lettings agency, and mail order business and worked for the Royal Mail and various Retail roles.

Versatility and understanding the dynamics of business and communities is key; especially in the time we live in it's important to havethe right thought process to bring communities together and find ways to incentivise growth.

Why did I leave Labour

I left Labour on 14th November 2023, disgusted by the comments of Keir Starmer, endorsing the cutting off food, water and basic essentials to the people ofGaza. Collective punishment and committing war crimes, is not something I could support or be silent about.

As a humanitarian, I have to put humanity first and foremost above my political career. The comments I made to the BBC in November still ring true:

Why I am standing in Wycombe?

I have many contacts and friends in Wycombe, along with family! Wycombe needs a strong independent voice that will stand up for humanity and principals that the political establishment has abandoned. Wycombe for Change asked me to be their candidate and with our values aligning, I am delighted to take this opportunity.

I have lived in Thames Valley all my life, knowing a lot about the community across the Chilterns. Having played football at a respectable level across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, I have had the pleasure to visit most places around Wycombe!

We are experiencing testing times, with the protests and fallout of Black Lives Matter, Covid, the Ukraine war, Climate Change, and Genocide in Gaza having contributed to a rise in energy prices, immigration, uncertain weather cycles, inflation and child poverty.
Injustice and Oppression are the cause of many of these crises, it's time we put humanity first whilst also being considerate of the issues plaguing us here in the UK.
I pledge to stand up for the residents of High Wycombe and ensure policies and investments are not squandered and we put Wycombe First!
As an independent, I am only answerable to you, I am not a servant of a political party but here only to work for you! Only an independent can be your voice as the injustices plaguing the world have proven to us over the years where our political leaders abandon the moral position for personal incentives.
